If you come from the Northeast :
Best is to join the freeway A6 direction the big south, then ORANGE toward (A7) to take the direction of NÎMES-MONTPELLIER-BEZIERS. Arrived to BEZIERS to take (A9 (TO 61)) the direction of NARBONNE.
Arrived on NARBONNE to take the direction of CARCASSONNE (TO 61).
To leave to Carcassonne-ESTet to take the direction of CARCASSONNE-CENTER
Arrived there, if you look for a hotel, you will find on quoted it right of the National 113 a hotel " Formule 1 ".
These hotels have the advantage to be on the other hand economic (25 € the night, breakfast in addition) the environment is Spartan. .
However that may be, when you are on the national 113 (N 113), after having come out of the freeway after one kilometer about you will follow the LIMOUX direction that will be indicated on your right. To follow this direction until LIMOUX (D 118).
Arrived to LIMOUX (D 118) you will follow the direction ALET LES BAINS - COUIZA.
Arrived to COUIZA you go straight ahead. You will nearly find the direction of RENNES-LE-CHATEAU on your left to the exit of the city (D 52)..

If you come from Paris :
Either you take the journey by the A6 freeway toward the A7 and you will follow the previous itinerary, either you cut by the center while passing by the freeway A 10. Arrived in ORLEANS you will follow the CLERMONT-FERRAND direction by the freeway A 71.
Then you will follow the CHÂTEAUROUX-LIMOGES-TOULOUSE direction by the freeway A 20. Is this direction very simple since it is sufficient? all along this course, to follow the TOULOUSE direction on the A20.
When you will arrive on TOULOUSE several directions are proposed you. Follow the one of PERPIGNAN-BARCELONA.
You will be then on the peripheral of TOULOUSE. Continue this direction that will drive you toward the A61 freeway.
Once on A 61 you will follow the direction of CARCASSONNE. Leave to the first come out of CARCASSONNE (Carcassonne-west).

To return you to RENNES-LE-CHATEAU, it is you sufficient to follow the direction of LIMOUX.
To follow this direction until LIMOUX (D 118).

You will take the freeway A62 TOULOUSE direction. When you will arrive on TOULOUSE several directions are proposed you follow the one of PERPIGNAN-BARCELONA.
