The stones engraved of the Rennes-Le-Chateau history

April 2004

The history of Rennes-Le-Chateau is enameled many elements. We recover, of course, the hypothetical parchments, the pictures of big painters, the works of Saunière and surely, engraved different stones.

What is he/it of it precisely?
We cannot stop from interrogating us on the reality of these stones!

The funerary stone and the stele of the tomb of the marchioness of Blanchefort :
The funerary stone of the marchioness of Blanchefort would seem to have existed, of the less we have the certainty that Bérenger Saunière worked away at this tomb and put an overflowing energy to erase the text of it.

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : The stele of the marchioness of Blanchefort

We know this text thanks to the different authors who bent on the topic. They are numerous to propose us a reproduction of the stele as Gérard of Sède presented it in his first book on Rennes-Le-Chateau. The author specifies us that this stone, before being damaged voluntarily by the vicar of Rennes-Le-Chateau, had kept the attention of a member of the CESA, Mr. Eugene Stublein. It would be thanks to this local author that we know the reproduction of the stone that he/it would have reproduced in a work titled" The Pierre Gravées of the Languedoc ".
Only, the document on which himself Gérard support of Sède is untraceable! Let's benefit in therefore to throw a call toward those that could present us this work.

Yet, the Marchioness's tomb stops making us winks of .il! After the stele, the funerary stone doesn't raise more new questions than it brings answer. The enrollments that there is engraved want to direct us toward the faraway Arcadie.
We speak of this funerary stone and we are carried away! Left us for the Arcadie! Let's remain objective! Not only the existence of the stele seems there doubtful as for the engravings extra, seem as much as the funerary stone solely exit of the imagination of some apocryphal document authors to the history of Rennes-Le-Chateau.
Let's summarize ourselves about these two stones: It is obvious that the stele and the funerary stone of the Marchioness's tomb existed. We have the proof of it since an account returned of a city council returns the complaints of the citizens and the elected of Rennes-Le-Chateau that complain about the deteriorations of the priest and his/her/its maid, Marie Dénarnaud, in the cemetery of the village. But on no account us can affirm that the different representations so much the funerary stone as the stele, really existed.

Besides, we can put easily in evidence that the funerary stone underwent some "evolutions" during the different publications. To the origin, and in this case we think about the famous" Report Cholet" that would date of April 25, 1967 one speaks to us the funerary stone while describing it as follows

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : The marchioness's funerary stone as it is described in the Cholet report

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : The funerary stone of the marchioness of Blanchefort

However, on no account us find note of a reference to the Arcadie. Yet, Gérard of Sède in his book presents, also in 1967 the funerary stone with these references to the Arcadie.
However that may be, the book of Stublein makes authority! Alas nothing proves its existence.

What is the most surprising is that a big number of researcher-authors put in evidence several ties between the big parchment of the business and the Marchioness's stele. Thanks to this stele a word is discovered: MORTEPEE. This word gives the key of the décryptage of this big parchment.

Only, we have, now the certainty that these parchments are of the hand of the Marquis Philippe of Cherisey, soul damned of Pierre Plantard and co-author of the famous documents set down Lobinau's in the Library National French.

As custom in the business of Rennes-Le-Chateau of the real elements serves supports to false elements destined to drive l

The Stone of Coumesourde :
Veils a stone that also poses for us the problems.

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : The Stone of Coumesourde

Discovered close to Rennes-Le-Chateau, It presents particular engravings. Some among them seem to want to send back us to the funerary Pierre of the Marchioness of Blanchefort. This stone is presented in the museum of Rennes-Le-Chateau. According to the given information it has been damaged and don't possess. no engravings.
Although discovery to one recent time any photograph doesn't exist.

How crédibiliser the Pierre Gravées and the parchments?

The enrollments of the Pierre of Coumesourde bring back us to the Marchioness's Pierre Funerary by the enrollment P.S PRAECUM. From there the tie is made with the stele that delivers us the MORTEPEE word, that himself us return to the big parchment.

However, the big parchment himself crédibilise by the sentence that is registered to its end :

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : Sentence of end of the Big Parchment

And does reason become believable, or of the less that does one tempt to make believe us? For the good reason that this sentence is descended of the only enrollment of which one has the certainty of its existence.

Bérenger Saunière would have painted himself Marie-Madeleine's low relief praying in an underground cave to the foot of the altar, but especially, in what concerns us currently, he would have painted on a board painted the sentence that presents itself to the low of the big parchment.

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : Here is the sentence that was under the low relief of the altar of the church

A famous photographs shows us M. Noël Corbu to the foot of the altar that possessed the painted board again.

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : Noël Corbu to the foot of the altar showing the low relief, note the sentence under the low relief
Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File! : Here is the low relief as it could be seen before the years 1970

Alas this board been flown in the years 1970

It would be interesting to bend on the enrollments of this board that present numerous incongruities orthographic and syntactic.

A last thing :
Among the stones engraved of Rennes-Le-Chateau it is a that has ever been mentioned of it. Yet its present calligraphy of the details astonishing that would have been able to in astonished more of one. This stone is a former stele that was a long time present in the cemetery of Rennes-Le-Chateau.

For reasons that we don't know it has been displaced in the run the presbytery and placed close to the former bell of the church, also exposed in this court. This stele is the one of Elisabeth deceased Raynaund in the farm of the Ayram May 15, 1857 to the age of 18 years

As one can see it on the photograph it includes several N reversed and different orthographic mistakes. This stone will be the topic of an ulterior survey.

As one sees it, in the business of Rennes-Le-Chateau there are the stones engraved doubtful of which one speaks a lot and the enrollments and real stones of which one doesn't speak!

We have the certainty that soon of others true-distort stones will make their apparition with extraordinary explanations and that we will unveil extraordinary mysteries
