To Marie-Madeleine at Bérenger Saunière

Second part
August 2003

.This neo-péplum has only the pretension to sustain a theory on the Christ's progeny. Well on her takes as a basis only on merely intellectual reasonings and it is well obvious that no tangible proofs can accredit this theory. It is besides the argument first that the detractors will have to say that this idea is completely crazy, to see stupid and to the worse, alas, sacrilege.
It tempts to understand a historic way the history of Jesus and his precepts. Since some years, a current of idea has the tendency to affirm that the Christ didn't die on the cross and that he would have been replaced by a twin brother fallen by the way to replace it at the time of the crucifixion.

We think, indeed, that Jesus died on the cross, for the simple and good reason that he pretended to the throne of Israel and that this position was not reconcilable with the mind of Rome.

Besides, Jesus has been released" by the members of the Sanhédrin that were perfectly satisfied with the occupation Roman. A Jesus, coming down from David, on the throne would have been, for them, the knell of their privileged place within the world Jew of the time. A Jesus on the throne would have been the sign of a reform radical of the law Jewess that would have been based on tolerance instead of the rigidity of the law of the Talion. Besides, this man's arrival on the throne of Israel would have made of it a King politicizes but also a King Religieux. He would have, indeed, summer the First Pope, of the law Reformed Jewess.

Therefore Rome and the Jewish religious authorities had to get rid of this cumbersome agitator, but also of his family. To let live a progeny was the risk to see to reproduce the same évènements in about twenty years. The risk was too big. Our Neo-Péplum proposes a thesis of the flight of the royal family of Israel toward Gaul.

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File: Iconography of Joseph of Arimathie

Already, under Rome, the City of Narbonne counted a strong Jewish community. It seems obvious, that of the runaways, some they are are always in search of places where they will find the regards and the sincere partisans.

What of more normal for Jewish in flight to integrate in place in a Jewish community, known and respected.

Close to Perpignan, to the northeast, a village that "names itself Saint-Marie" exists. We said well to the north of Perpignan. This village doesn't have anything to see with the one of the Saint-Marie-De-La-Mer camargue.

sRennes-Le-Chateau - The File: The Saint-Marie village close to Perpignan.

Maybe that this toponym is there to recall an extraordinary évènement who happened close to this place, are there close to two-thousand years? It is well obvious that there are little luck that it is This village that is seen accosting the boat damaged of the runaways. The levels of the Mediterranean evolved a lot during this period.

Besides, It seems incongruous enough that tempt to hide in the Gallic city of the runaways of the régime Roman where the Romans have a fleet and a first-class casernement.
Well on Narbonne counts many soldiers, but not as much as Marseille.

It seems probable enough that Marie-Madeleine, Joseph of Arimathie and their mates could accost to the large of Perpignan and from there to have surrendered to Narbonne.

Marie-Madeleine's body would have been hidden in a region moved back of the valley of the Atax. Atax is the former name of the Aude river. Indeed, the village of Rennes-Le-Chateau could have been one of the places ideal to hide the remains of the Saint and the one of her son and maybe of his son's descendants.

But long before to be Rennes-Le-Chateau the village was probably Rhédae, and before it an oppidum.

This region of Aude is astonishing by its concentration in military devices. It seems that to the shortcoming of the centuries they have been achieved so that the center of Aude is impregnable. That that one call "today the "Cathars castles were, above all, of the strong places.

The sites of these strong places make the defense that one owes to a case think. If we admit that Rennes-Le-Chateau is the place of burial of Marie-Madeleine, we can be certain that the Catholic church perfectly knew in what region were the tombs. The crusade of the Albigeoises has for it been a good pretext for, maybe to look for them.

It is astonishing enough to hear the silence that surrounds the hold with Rennes-Le-Chateau by the men of Simon of Montfort. One knows the day and the length of the hold of the Castle of Coustaussa, to the foot of Rennes-Le-Chateau, with strength details, castle besides that surrendered without fighting.
On the other hand, for what is of Rennes-Le-Chateau, we don't nearly know anything. And yet the place was even important for the time. The hold of Rennes-Le-Chateau by Henri of Trastamare is known and is told in detail. It presents a highly walled village, equipped with battlements worthy of this name. And yet Trastamare took Rennes-Le-Chateau, close to one century after Simon of Montfort invaded the Languedoc. Besides Simon of Montfort was the pawn ideal for this quest. He had asked him to kill the heretic, thing that he perfectly made well, while of the religious famous had maybe, them the mission to look for what the church wanted to find. Is this for it that a man as famous as Pierre of the Valley-of-Cernay was designated to follow Montfort?
Because recall ourselves that Montfort, all as the Neighbors or the Levises, were of small Lords of the Île de France. We would say" small Lords without importance!"!
Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File: Simon of Montfort, the leader of the first crusade against the albigeois.

The Cathars are often bound to the Grail with reason or no. It is certain that they followed a religion close to the Christ's words, they repulsed the church of Rome that they considered corrupt and venal. Is it possible to think that they knew the secret of Rennes-Le-Chateau?

The church of Rennes-Le-Chateau is exceptional enough. Not so much by the decoration that Bérenger Saunière achieved in the XIXeme century but well more by his architecture. We already underlined the presence of a particular architecture piece. It is about one liter. One liter is the inlay of clearer stones in a constant height and a constant width on the periphery of a religious building. This liter is an indication of the quality of the cult place. Its presence specifies that in this place, an important character, a king, a prince or a saint is buried.

Some we will say that are himself the Lords of Rennes who are buried here. Certainly, this fact is incontestable, but the liter is not the mark for simple Lords.

Rennes-Le-Chateau - The File: The church of Rennes-Le-Chateau, theLitre in the construction is well obvious.

Must we think that the decoration of the church by Bérenger Saunière and that his constructions who refer permanently to Marie-Madeleine drive us to search for the Saint's tomb? But maybe also to the one his or their children?

It is a fact that Bérenger Saunière pushes heavily on the symbolic bound to the saint. Rarely a church dedicated to a saint has so much reference to this one! That finishes by in to be displaced.

In this case we could understand the reactions of the church better in opposition to Bérenger Saunière. Would we understand better why, did a lineage of priests follow Rennes-Le-Chateau seeming to protect a secret? We would understand better why, the family of ables had for emblem onher blazon an unique piece: David's star. Coming down from Marie-Madeleine and Jesus or guardian of the secret? Guard of the Grail?
